15 octobre 2009: En bref - 69 millions à Concordia (Le Devoir)

October 14, 2009: Concordia receives nearly $69 million for research infrastructure from the Governments of Canada and Québec: "The Structural and Functional Genomics Centre will be built thanks to a grant of $29,345,000. This funding comes in addition to significant recent grants to Concordia from the federal and provincial governments for research in environmental genomics. The centre supports fundamental and applied research on crop improvement and sustainable biotechnology. Current large scale projects include research into alternative energy sources and bioproducts that aim to secure Canada's future bioeconomy. The university plans to house the centre in a new wing to be built onto the Richard J. Renaud Science Complex on the Loyola Campus."
